After Discussing some things we need to know about the “Duo”, now let’s see why most people said Android OS smartphones is Outselling iPhone IOS Smartphones, but before we start please grasp a full bucket of pop-corn near you because am going to take you through the ultimate reason why a normal Nigerian we reject an iPhone for an Android phone. See;
High Cost of Purchasing :- The cost of purchasing an iPhone in Nigeria is jaw-breaking, they will rather purchase the mobile phone of N30,000 than to buy a mobile phone of N200,000, it’s a normal thing everyone thinks here in Nigeria. It only takes a determined person here in Nigeria to dish out N200,000 to buy a new mobile phone whereas the money can be used to purchase 2 to 3 laptops for home use or business purposes. Let’s say an Infinix smartphone sells for N19,000 and an iPhone sells for 150,000, taking a close look at the specifications and other details of the two (2) mobile phones they have no distinct difference which means the specs are really the same, example is when the R.A.M [Random Access Memory] of the Infinix and iPhone are both 2GB and a storage capacity of 16 GB for the both, which phone will you choose?. Android phones are affordable to all in the sense that you can even get a brand new android phone in Nigeria for as low as N10,000 and get a fairly used for less than N10,000 which is why you should know what you must check before buying used mobile phones in Nigeria and with this you can get a very good android phone which makes Android phones a mobile market stable product.
User Experience :- Android smartphone are known for their simplicity and also have a nice user interface to create good experience for the user, like I said at the beginning of the post, operating of android phone is very easy and the Menu icons are well arrange to make clicking and operation tidy, this type of operation is lacking on an iPhone and what I mean by lacking is the absence of back button or icon on iPhones which is not good and the absence of Bluetooth to send and receive files , the back button supposed to be there to make easy navigation through different pages. Android offers simple to use, flexible interface for users which makes it very easier for anybody to use it. All Nigerian gamers knows that playing games with android is very easy and not as buggy as other phones like iPhones and most of Apple iPhone games are premium games which you will have to pay to download can you imagine? To play game I will have to pay again.
FREE USE OF APPLICATIONS :- Google which is the backbone of all android phones makes it easier to install applications on your android phones using the Google PlayStore , According to reports there are billions of applications stored in Google’s directly in which most of them are free and can be used to solve the problem you downloaded it for or the ones you downloaded for fun. This kind of feature is not present in Apple store, in Apple store you would have to pay for the applications, lets you just wanted to try out and you paid for it and the app didn’t solve the problem you paid for you just have to delete it and the few bucks is a lot of money. You cannot just install any application on your iPhone without passing it true iTunes which you might pay before downloading it.
FURTHER CUSTOMIZATION :- Android phones can be further customized to fit your needs by accessing the source codes if you are a competent programmer which is very good but Apple’s iPhone is not allowed to be edited for further customization since it is not open source.
SHARING :- Android users including me enjoys sharing file from one android phone to another phone using wireless connections such as Fileshare, Xender,e.t.c which can be very fast to transfer large amount of data or using Bluetooth to send files from my android phone to another android phone or mobile phone or to a desktop computer and can even install third parties applications on my Android phone without having to verify the application efficiency with Google . This feature is not included on Apple IOS smartphones in which there is no Bluetooth available to send or receive files unless from another iPhone user or you download it from the Apple IOS stores and third parties application cannot be installed on the phone unless it passes through the APP Store.
