Google is Building Two Android Wear Smartwatches Of Its Own With Google AI
According to the sources, Android Police claims to have an exciting information about the next upcoming Google android wear. As we all know that, Google had already manufactured laptops like Chromebook Pixel, tablets (Pixel C), and also streaming devices like Chromecast.
According to Andriod Police, Google’s upcoming Android wearables aren’t from Samsung or LG. These are claimed to be 100 percent Google in-house Android wear, Google will probably launch the new wearables as Nexus-brand but will be released after the launch of Nexus upcoming smartphones.
According to the sources, the upcoming Android wearables from Google are codenamed as Angelfish and Swordfish.
Angelfish, would be a larger and would rather provide for sports activities, will share a sporty look. This could be equipped with a 4G connection, a GPS chip, and a pulse sensor. The circular Android wear will have three buttons on its side. “Angelfish” would fit somewhere in between the 42mm and 46mm sizes of Lenovo’s Moto 360.
The next one will be “Swordfish” which is expected to be smaller and would operate with a single button. Swordfish will not have GPS and LTE. Swordfish Android wearables are compared in design to the Pebble Time Round. Swordfish would provide a diameter of 42 mm it will come in three colors Silver, Titanium and Rose Gold.
Both the smartwatches will offer Google Assistant integration which was announced at Google I/O this year.
Google hasn’t actually announced anything yet. So, we have to wait a few more months to see them appear on the market. As we have already mentioned, Google will probably launch the new wearables as Nexus-brand but will be released after the launch of Nexus upcoming smartphones.
